We mounted VDO gauges in the dash and it is illuminated by green bulbs
so the night color matches the dash. 

On the left is a mechanical oil  pressure gauge (P/N 150 037)	In the middle is a oil temperature gauge  (P/N  310 512)	On the right is a voltage gauge. (VDO P/N 332 502)

For the Temperature sender ( VDO P/N 323 057) I removed the plug for the oil port and then tapped a 3/8 NPT tread into the engine block( the hole that is present after removing the gold color plug cap is the perfect size for that size tap) I Also used high temp wire for the sender.  For the mechanical oil pressure gauge I drilled and tapped a 1/8 NPT  into the engine block filter area and installed a high pressure stainless steel hose back into the cab to attach to the gauge.
