Also we attached a auxiliary fuse block near the relay under the center console.  I feed a red 6 gauge from the spare 30 amp fuse under the hood fuse box then soldered all the bottom terminals to the wire.

Also insulated with the liquid electrical tape.  To keep the electrical noise interference to a minimum, I feed the power wire through a wire braid and the attached one end to ground. (I also did the same to the CB antenna wire to keep the speaker feedback down to zero.)

The fuse block I bought at Pep Boys automotive in Houston, but I also saw a similar on in J.C. Whitney magazine.
