It was an extremely hot, couple of hours this morning for the people came out for the "Adopt-a-Highway" (listed below). But surprisingly, we finished up by 10 AM! Basically it took us just two hours.Thank you for all the people came out and spent time cleaning the trash.I think now the 2 mile stretch is getting easier each time. This time we had more signs than anything. We did however separate the plastic signs and keep the wooden stakes. Now we have something we can donate to the TMTC next time we go to Gilmer TX as a group. Here are the people that attended :Ray Barth, Lance Miller, Lance Sloan & Kim Brooks, Patrick Scranton, Jiri Zastresek, Matt Pentifallo, Bruce Lawrence, Steve McDonald & Sandy Graff, Stan & Sabrena Zangel (Land Rover Houston), Antonio Manega, Giovanni Coquis & April, Alan & Mimi Dobbs(Total 17 people)Now we need to ask Sam to request more trash bags to the authority for the next time !We will have another trash pick up on October 8, 2000 (Sun.).Alan & Mimi Dobbs |
