It was a cold, tough but fun, full 4 days of trail rides at one of the nicest location in the nation.  It took us for a week to recover from all the "work" & "drive back" after the trip.  Vacation is no longer the vacation, attending the event is becoming a "pure work".  We left Houston with Bill Ritchie (with his D90) & co-driver, Antonio Manega late Monday and traveled to just outside of  San Antonio to rest.  The next day we headed down west I-10 thru Texas around Ft. Stockton we came into a dust storm with a +30MPH head wind and a up hill drive me thinking my fuel sending unit went out again.  I was driving on "E" until I ran out of Gas.  Good thing I carry a jerry can full.  While driving thru El Paso you can easily see the houses in Mexico.  After 13 hours of driving we finally made it out of Texas.
