It was another successful Land Rover event in Columbus.  There were close to a 100 people & it was the largest to date. I want to personally thank all who attended and helped out Land Rover Houston in setting up the tents & spotting the newbies thru the course.

Even though we all got a late start this morning due to traffic on I-10, the off-road course and tables were set up in quickly without any flaws.  Like before, the BBQ cooked by Jeff (Tech from LRH) was excellent with lots of leftovers this time.  I even saw Doug take a whole BBQ chicken home.

As for the course it was even more exciting than before from the past rain and erosion.  There was that one mud hole where everyone had to try and get stuck in. It turned out to be a mud less hole by the end of the day.  The course was so fun and there was so much interest that many kept going on the course 3 to 4 times more.  The event did not really quit till close to 4 PM, which is a first.

At the beginning Steve McDonald at Land Rover Houston talked about the event.  The HLRC (with orange vests) was introduced to the new Land Rover Owners.

Giovanni was checking out his Discovery's twisty suspensions and amazed some of the fellow Disco owners
There is a good mud hole which was the challenging for all attended.  Quite few vehicles tried and after a while all the "mud" was pushed away :-)
