9/03/99 (Fri.) 

We met up with Bill Ritchie at the truck stop parking lot in Brookshire.  We used our car trailer first time.  It's a Big-Tex Car Trailer.  It worked very good.

No more worry about getting us back to home after the event.  That was the main reason we got a trailer.

The ranch is only 4 miles away from the "Enchanted Rock State Park"

We signed up with the Red Group.  In front of our D90 is the trail leader's rig

On the 1st day, from the beginning, the trail was pretty good.

Bill Ritchie, Alan Stewart and Alan are  debating at the short, but pretty bad hill. the name of the hill is called the "wall" That name explains it all.

After Mimi and I watching his attempts Mimi would not let me try since the event just started and it would be a wasted weekend if we broke :(  

Most of the Jeeps in the group made this hill.

Crawl right up. wit those 39.5 Bogger tires.

Our group (Red Group) was consisted of truly modified rock crawling Jeeps like this trail leader.  It is so nice to go with these hard core, experienced people as always.  There are many to learn at each event we attend
